Why Is My Car AC Blowing Warm Air?
Your vehicle's air conditioning system relies on refrigerant circulating through a sealed network of hoses, valves, coils, and mechanical components. The compressor pressurizes the refrigerant, the condenser releases heat, and the evaporator removes heat and humidity from the air entering the cabin.
If refrigerant pressure is too low, the compressor is not operating, airflow is restricted, or electrical controls are not working correctly, the vents may blow warm air instead of providing proper cooling.
Adding refrigerant without identifying the cause is not always a complete repair. Because automotive AC systems are sealed, low refrigerant frequently means a leak is present somewhere in the system.

What Usually Causes Warm Air From the AC?
Low Refrigerant
